Not a Brain Dump ep for once! : P Today Max G brings us a compelling discussion about the tooncanny valley and why it might have been a better idea to go for a more "Roger Rabbit" approach to the Sonic the Hedgehog movie.
Should SEGA have gone for a 2D full toon Sonic instead of a realistic one? Can this movie still do well? Also, what do you guys think of the animation method used to show this concept off? Personally it blew my mind when I saw this. I saw the 3D face and went "Wait there's no 3D in this" and then saw the animating and got mind blown.
